December 22nd, 2011: The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada together with Bugaboo Americas voluntarily recalled the Bugaboo Bee stroller due to risks of the front stroller wheels locking and causing the stroller to tip over. There are approximately 7,260 strollers in US and Canada combined that are affected in this recall.
According to the press release:
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Bugaboo or the retailer where the stroller was purchased to receive free replacement swivel wheels.
This recall is for strollers sold during the period of February to September 2011. This problem is similar to the wheel-jamming experienced by UK mothers a few months earlier.
